A key element of the Environmental Impact Assessment [EIA] process will focus on the impact of mine development and operations on water resources and the associated water environments. The Guidelines draw on the overall approach provided in the draft General Technical Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment (2017). However, the guidance is specific to the mining sector. Content of the Guidelines The Guidelines have six main parts: i.
