Strategies for grinding HVOF-coated aerospace parts. Chrome may be flashy, but its days in the sun are numbered—including as a coating for aerospace parts. Engineered hard chrome has been applied to aerospace parts to increase wear resistance and repair or rebuild worn sections.Which Grinding Wheel Should I Choose? | Norton,21/11/2018· A grinding wheel is a precision tool with thousands of cutting points on its surface - abrasive grains that are held in place by a bond matrix (hence these are known as bonded abrasives) and separated by pores. These pores are hollow spaces between abrasive grains and the bond , which help with the clearance of discarded metal chips in the grinding,

Supergrind CG Grinding Fluids Industrial - Morris Lubricants

It has been shown* that if released into the work place, Cobalt poses a health hazard to machine operators. If conventional synthetic grinding fluids are used to grind carbides, Cobalt is automatically released into the fluid and builds up to harmful levels. A specialist product is therefore required to prevent such levels being present in the fluid.
